OUR COMMUNITY

We also join forces with other faith based organizations in our community, providing financial and volunteer support. We do these things not because we have to but because we share in the same vision to; Love God, love people and make a difference.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms”
–  1 Peter 4:10

One way we are able to support a number of these organizations is by annually dedicating 100% of our “Christmas Offering” to local partners.

Some our local partners include:

Fannin Christian Learning Center

The Fannin Christian Learning Center is a “released time” program. Students are released from Fannin County High School during the school day to go to the FCLC for Biblical instruction (free of charge). The FCLC courses are electives in the students’ course schedules, and they attend the same period every day for an entire semester. Students may take as many FCLC courses as their academic schedules allow. After the course is satisfactorily completed, the credit is transferred to the high school.

Christian Sports Alliance

The Christian Sports Alliance believes that God will use any avenue available to reach into the lives of His children for the greater of their good, and His glory. Through a Christ-based environment, we provide registration fees, and new, or used sports equipment to less fortunate children whose families cannot afford the high cost associated with organized sports. In doing so, not only do we have a window of opportunity to introduce a child to Christ’s love and grace, but we also give them an opportunity to learn many life-long lessons that will serve them well as they walk through this world and become mothers and fathers to their own children.  When a child becomes part of a team they learn a great deal about personal values and are less likely to feel isolated. Sports teaches us about hard work, self-esteem, respect, patience, resilience, persistence, commitment, confidence, optimism, dedication, time management, and accountability to others.  It’s a proven fact that kids who participate in team sports develop social interaction skills and leadership skills at a much faster pace than those who don’t. Our ministry uses sports, youth sports camps, and recreational play as an introduction to a relationship with Jesus Christ and a way to transform lives. Only through financial generosity and a giving heart can we continue to invest in the lives of His children by sharing the Gospel.
