Unplugged – Student Ministry

Unplugged is a 2-day event designed to help students disconnect from the day-to-day and form deeper friendships, get to know their leaders better, and most importantly grow closer to God.
Yes, this means NO PHONES for 24 hours. (Crazy we know!)
We stay in town for this event. It starts late Saturday morning Oct 6tth with lunch provided by Chick-fil-A, then some games and a short teaching. We will then head to host homes to hang out with our small groups for a while. We will eat dinner at the host home before coming back to The Ridge for more games, worship, and teaching.
The event wraps up with everyone coming to church Oct 7th at the 11am service.
It’s a short and sweet event designed for the hectic lives we all have.
Cost: $25/per student due at sign-up
Registration Cut-Off: Sep 19th 8 pm
Q: Where are the host homes?
A: All host homes are other church members and will be in the immediate area. You will be
provided with exact details when you drop your students off of where they are staying, who their
leaders will be and how to reach them.
Q: Will my student need money?
A: No, everything is included in this event. Although it’s never a bad idea for them to have a few

A: Yes, we make every effort to accommodate food allergies. You MUST let us know ahead of
Q: Will you be taking my student’s phone away?
A: No, while we will encourage them to leave their phone at home or in a bag we will at no point
Q: Will leaders have phones so I can reach them?
A: Yes, leaders will keep their phones. If you have a true emergency you will be able to reach
your student quickly.
