The 2019 Fall Festival Sponsored by The Ridge Is I The Books
Did you attend the 2019 Fall Festival? If so, you know just how much fun it was. The crowd attending was the biggest yet. The Chili Cook-Off was a resounding success!
The Ridge-sponsored Fall Festival was open to the community. The event had a little something for everyone – fun games, good food and great fellowship. The Kona Ice Truck was a big hit, as was the Ridge’s outreach program, the First Fruits food truck, in giving out hot chocolate, apple cider and funnel cakes. Kids of all ages played games, enjoyed hayrides, bounce houses, and Trucker Treating. The Chili Cook-Off helped raise money for First Fruits, as attendees cast their ballots for the chili competition’s People’s Choice Award with a small donation. Nearly $900 was raised for our First Fruits ministry!
Margie San Souci and Connie Clark won 1st Place. Leslie Locke won People’s Choice.
This event was geared to provide a fun and safe environment for the community. Our hope is that regardless of the event, every person who attends The Ridge feels welcomed and gets to experience Jesus’ love through us.
We want to offer a note thanks to everyone that attended the Fall Festival, and of course, acknowledge that this event was a success because of the efforts of many – our amazing staff, volunteers and Journey Groups.
We think it’s safe to say that the second annual Fall Festival will not soon be forgotten!
