A bigger house, a bigger paycheck, a bigger vacation: wanting more isn’t always a bad thing, but Jesus taught us a completely different truth.  Jesus said, “it’s better to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35).  Living a life characterized by generosity leads to a deeper level of God’s blessing.  When it comes to living generously there are three areas in our life where we find that it is more blessed to give than to receive: our TIME (days on earth), our TALENTS (gifts and passions), and our TREASURE (financial resources).

As the people of God, we are called to steward the things that have been entrusted to us. Do you control your calendar, or does it control you?  Do you use your talents for service or success?  Do you own your possessions, or do they own you? The more we give away, the more we enjoy what we have been given. This four-week sermon series gives a fresh perspective on what being ‘generous’ really means, and how we can honor God with the time, talent and treasure.
